Seeking, seizing the Kingdom

Today is the first Monday after DST came to rob me of that hour of sleep I needed. The company I’m with, Singo Solution, is based in Arizona. They unlike most of the rest of the world are smart enough to ignore DST altogether, which is great for them, but now they’re 2 hours behind me instead of one.

I stayed up way too late last night moving the web content that I manage to a new webhost (ta-da!). I had used Infinology for a couple years, but their service really went downhill over the past 6 months. After they ignored my trouble tickets for some time, I knew I had to find a new host. I was getting ready to launch a new site called AdaCommons, a collaborative wiki site to aid with advocacy, communication, education of the Ada community and those looking to learn Ada. I found Bluehost, and I’m really happy so far. They give more options and resources… I didn’t even have to install WP by hand, they had an auto-installer all set up.

I was able to move over all the custom stuff I’ve done… I’m still having problems with MamboOS and my active bookmarks. I’m dropping my Mambo to replace it with this shiny new blog!
