Sunday morning black-and-serve
Joy is working today, so when I got up, I attempted to make breakfast. I thought I’d make a couple “brown-and-serve” sausage. I threw the meat on the skillet, and went downstairs. I got distracted installing updates on my parents computer (which I had sitting here for 3 weeks before I could finally get to). When I realized what happened, I bounded up the stairs to a smoke-filled floor. Oh boy. I took the heat off, and opened all the windows I could (storm windows are still on from winter). I proceeded to make myself some eggs after cleaning off the skillet. I had to scrape the charred part off the meat before I could stand to eat it. No doubt a fun start to a fun day. Thank God for Sunday afternoon church!

A watched pot never boils. An ignored pot bursts into flames.
Are you sure you didn’t do this to kill Chopin (aka Carpetbomb) by smoke inhalation?
